For this series I am still trying to perfect the Richard Avedon's style. His style usually consists of portrait pictures with a minimal background. Additionally the subject always expresses real emotion instead of the "say cheese" type of picture.
Overall, great job. I really like the variety of your pictures- It makes it more interesting. My only suggestion is that you take all the pictures from the same angle. All of your pictures but one are from the same angle, so other than that nice work.
this is a great series! i cant find a single pic that looks posed or "fake". i also really like the simplicity of each photo. this simplicity really helps accent the emotions and feelings the students feel at that moment. my favorite picture is your 4th. i really like the approach/angle you took. and i think this shows the strongest emotion of all. Great Series!
